In what's become a running theme this season, the Timber Lake Panthers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 74-34 win over Bison. Winning may never get old, but Timber Lake sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Despite the loss, Bison still got an impressive performance from Rylee Veal, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 41.2% of Bison's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Stadler, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Timber Lake's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Bison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timber Lake on the road again on Monday and play against Mobridge-Pollock at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th. Bison won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kadoka at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. Kadoka is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
