Northern Durham suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Chapel Hill, falling 98-5. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northern Durham has scored all season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Riverside-Durham, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-39 loss to East Chapel Hill on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riverside-Durham in their matchups with East Chapel Hill: they've now lost three in a row.
Northern Durham dropped their record down to 2-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.8 points per game. As for Riverside-Durham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
