Drury are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lee on Friday at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Drury, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
After soaring high against Smith Academy/Smith Vo-Tech two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last Saturday. Drury suffered a grim 14-40 defeat to Mt. Greylock Regional.
Meanwhile, Lee made easy work of Franklin County Tech and carried off a 22-0 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lee.
Lee's win lifted them to 2-0 while Drury's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Lee can add another positive mark to their record or if Drury can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Lee's step.
