It was a good run, but Watertown unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Waukesha North Northstars by a score of 6-4. The Goslings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Northstars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Jacob Hurtgen and Calvin Hurtgen stepped up to the plate in a big way. Jacob went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Calvin went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Waukesha North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watertown will host Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waukesha North, they will take on Brookfield East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
