Caribou entered their tilt with Fort Kent on Wednesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by an 87-64 margin over the Fort Kent Warriors. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Fort Kent saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aden Jeffers went 18 of 31 on his way to 31 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Severe, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and six rebounds.

Caribou pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Fort Kent, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caribou will welcome Hermon at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Caribou has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Fort Kent, they will be playing at home against Katahdin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Katahdin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Fort Kent surely won't give up without a fight.
