Timmy Bates threw for four touchdowns as
Westerville South (Westerville, Ohio) defeated
Westerville North (Westerville, Ohio) 48-19 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Joshua Wilson touchdown pass to
Carter Torrodd in the first quarter, the Wildcats led 33-14 at the half.
Westerville South grew its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. WS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Darien Miller touchdown run.
Bates and Torrodd teamed up to form a great passing pair. Torrodd caught three touchdowns and Bates threw four. Torrodd has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Bates has thrown four.
Bates was the top performer for the Wildcats. The senior quarterback threw four touchdowns.
A 52-15 Westerville South victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Westerville North, who notched a 30-28 victory over Canal Winchester in its previous outing.
