Southwest DeKalb came out on top against Chamblee on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Makayla Dixon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched.
