The Dutchtown Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Lamar County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dutchtown will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Dutchtown kept a clean sheet against Newnan. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars.
Savannah Callaway was the driving force of Dutchtown's attack as she scored both of Dutchtown's goals. With that big game, she's now up to nine goals this season.
Meanwhile, Lamar County couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Pike County by a score of 1-0.
Dutchtown's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lamar County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Dutchtown suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Lamar County in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dutchtown was down 3-0.
