The Pershing County Mustangs waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They managed a 51-46 victory over Sierra Lutheran. That's another feather in the cap for Pershing County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Pershing County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Travis Donaldson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Donaldson has scored all season. Izayuh Mcglothin was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Pershing County's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Sierra Lutheran, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Incline the next time they take the court. Sierra Lutheran will head out to face Incline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pershing County will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
