Oakland-Craig was the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over Lyons-Decatur Northeast. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oakland-Craig also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Lincoln M benne was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braylon Anderson, who scored seven points along with seven assists and three steals.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Knaak, who scored 14 points. Braden Hardin was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and two steals.
Oakland-Craig's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Oakland-Craig will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop Bergan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they will head out on the road to square off against Mead at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
