Triplains/Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. Josh Rath was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds for Golden Plains. The dominant performance gave Rath a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Wark, who went 6 for 14 en route to 14 points and seven boards.
Triplains/Brewster's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Golden Plains, they moved to 4-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
