North Miami hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over the Pinecrest Prep Crocs on Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Pinecrest Prep still got an impressive performance from Gabriel Guzman, who posted 25 points and three steals. That was a full 46.3% of the Crocs' points, marking the seventh time in a row Guzman has earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dwayne Toussaint, who had 13 points and eight rebounds.

North Miami's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Pinecrest Prep, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

North Miami has already played their next game, a 64-61 victory against Mourning on the 6th. As for Pinecrest Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-55 win against South Miami on the 6th.
