The Pickens Blue Flame will head out on the road to take on the Daniel Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pickens will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Pickens hadn't beaten Greer on the road since February 24, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. Pickens walked away with a 6-2 victory over Greer. That's two games straight that the Blue Flame have won by exactly four runs.

Sophie Duzan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Belle Lawton, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsley Simmons, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Daniel came up short against Travelers Rest on Friday and fell 6-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Daniel saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Iams, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Pickens pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Daniel, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pickens hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Daniel struggles in that department as they've averaged .358. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Pickens' way against Daniel when the teams last played on March 7th, as Pickens made off with an 8-2 win. Will Pickens repeat their success, or does Daniel has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
