The Bolles Bulldogs will face off against the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bolles is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Bolles and Orange Park had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Wednesday.

Maggie Stephens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Aleda Cashwell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Leighton Dostie, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trinity Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Harvest Community on Tuesday by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Considering the Conquerors have won six matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Nakaela Williams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Adeline Hough, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
Trinity Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Trinity Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bolles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bolles has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Trinity Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bolles might still be hurting after the 13-5 defeat they got from Trinity Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
