Leading Lone Pine to victory were Alfonso Castro and Cristian Duran. Castro dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Duran almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Castro is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Elijah Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lone Pine pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Owens Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lone Pine won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Baker at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th.
