On the hitting side, Eastern let Joseph Foskett and Asa Roessner run wild. Foskett scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Roessner scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Foskett continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Aurry Lawrence, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
Eastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Woodson's offense. They came up short against McKinley Tech on Wednesday, falling 22-0.
