The Warren County Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Luray Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Warren County strolled past Manassas Park with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. With that win, Warren County brought their scoring average up to 57.5 points per game.
Warren County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Bergmann, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Will Bergmann was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Luray couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell to East Rockingham 66-60.
Warren County's win bumped their season record to 2-0 while Manassas Park's defeat dropped theirs to 0-3.
