There's no place like home for Crisp County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Brooks County Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Crisp County never let Brooks County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Leading Crisp County to victory were Alli Vargas and Keliss Mosley. Vargas had six digs and three aces, while Mosley had six digs and five aces. Those three aces gave Vargas a new career-high. Sa'Mia Moore also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Crisp County's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Brooks County, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Crisp County has already played their next contest (against Tift County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brooks County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Cook on the 2nd.
