Nolensville waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Columbia Academy Bulldogs, posting a 68-33 win. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Nolensville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nyla Johnson out in front who went 6 for 11 on her way to 13 points. Leilani Washington was another key player, putting up six points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Nolensville's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Columbia Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Nolensville will be taking part in a tournament against Winter Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nolensville is facing Winter Park at the right time seeing as Winter Park is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Columbia Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
