Mount Olive has not had much luck with Leake County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Treylon Ricks, who scored 28 points along with three steals for Leake County. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ricks has scored at least a third of Leake County's points. Tay Fortune was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Mount Olive's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Leake County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.
Mount Olive didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-31 loss vs. Piney Woods on the 9th. Leake County has also already played their next game, a 71-54 win against Taylorsville on the 9th.
