The Randle Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Foster Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Randle: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Foster has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
Randle posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 50-23 win over Terry. The victory was just what Randle needed coming off of a 50-29 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Foster was able to grind out a solid victory over Fulshear on Friday, taking the game 53-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given Foster's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while Fulshear is ranked 307th).
Foster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremy Freeman led the charge by scoring 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Stephanson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Randle's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Foster, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-15 record this season.
Randle came up short against Foster when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 69-62. Thankfully for Randle, Jace Jones (who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
