Everything went their way against the North Henderson Knights on Monday as the Smoky Mountain Mustangs made off with a 7-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.
Smoky Mountain's offense was hitting North Henderson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Angela Gonzalez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
The victory made it two in a row for Smoky Mountain and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for North Henderson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
