Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Smoky Mountain). Everything went their way against the North Henderson Knights on Monday as the Smoky Mountain Mustangs made off with  a  7-1 win. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  4-1.
Smoky Mountain's offense was hitting North Henderson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.  Angela Gonzalez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
The  victory made it two in a row for Smoky Mountain and  bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored ten  goals over those two  matches. As for North Henderson,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Coming up, Smoky Mountain will head out on the road to  challenge  Pisgah  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Smoky Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5  goals per game  this season. As for North Henderson, they will be playing at home against Tuscola  at 5:00  p.m.  on March 24th.
