Smithville has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Falkner Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Mary Haley Hood, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 19 straight games. Another player making a difference was Halle Sargent, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Meanwhile, Falkner also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to East Union by a score of 55-47. Falkner has struggled against East Union recently, as their matchup last Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Smithville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Falkner, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
