Mountain View is 2-8 against the Wolverines since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Mountain View Wildcats will be playing at home against the North Stafford Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Mountain View will be strutting in after a victory while the Wolverines will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mountain View beat the Cougars 30-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mountain View.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-28, which was the final score in North Stafford's tilt against the Panthers on Friday. North Stafford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.
Mountain View now has a winning record of 10-9. As for North Stafford, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9.
Mountain View won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by the Wolverines 39-38. Will Mountain View repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
