He is becoming a predictor of John Hay's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 1-9 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Beau Harris Jr was a standout: he got on base in six of his seven plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Erek Williams, who went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
John Hay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
John F. Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for John Hay, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
