Knox is 0-5 against Culver Academies since May of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Redskins will square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Knox is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against West Central by a score of 13-10 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Redskins in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

Knox let Keegan Everage and Brady Fort run wild. Everage went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Fort went 2-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Fort has become a key player for Knox: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3-1 otherwise. Cain Weber also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Knox kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Culver Academies, as they earned their first away win of the season. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over LaVille on Tuesday.
Max Grundberg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Will Harris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Thomas Oliver-Overmyer, who went 2-for-3 with four runs and two stolen bases.
The win got Culver Academies back to even at 4-4. As for Knox, their record is now 5-3-1.
Knox suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Culver Academies in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Redskins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
