The Mill Creek Hawks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Mountain View as Mill Creek made off with a 33-7 win. The result was nothing new for Mill Creek, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Mill Creek can attribute much of their success to Justin Content, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. Trajen Greco got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Mill Creek's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 9-1 Buford and 8-2 Norcross (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.3% over those games). As for Mountain View, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Mill Creek will face off against Osborne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Osborne comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against Walton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Walton's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season.
