The Warren County Wildcats gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They secured a 48-43 W over Strasburg. For Warren County, this counts as revenge for the 57-26 loss Strasburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Warren County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Raymond Dingess, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Bare, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Strasburg's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Walker Conard, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Griffin Carter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Strasburg struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Warren County racked up 12.
Warren County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
