High Point had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. High Point weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 16-20 to Frederick on Saturday. High Point was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frederick apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting High Point off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Frederick a 1-0 record.
Next week, High Point take on Crossland at 2:00 PM. Frederick are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Catoctin next week at 7:00 PM.
