The Hillcrest Panthers will challenge the Adamson Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Hillcrest is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 28-18 margin over White on Friday. The Panthers have beaten the Longhorns the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Longhorns has come to flipping the script.

Angel Jimenez was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with six RBI, one triple, and one double. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Yoarlin Rodriguez, who scored four runs while getting on base in all six of his plate appearances.
Hillcrest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .732. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Adamson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sunset 5-4.
Christian Salazar made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Adamson is 2-0-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-8 otherwise. Salazar was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Salazar wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Duque, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Abraham Montoya was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
Adamson's victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 11-5-1.
Everything went Hillcrest's way against Adamson in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Hillcrest made off with a 9-2 victory. Will Hillcrest repeat their success, or does Adamson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
