Cordova lost against Coosa Christian last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cordova Blue Devils came up short against the Coosa Christian Conquerors, falling 11-2. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jace Kiser made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Coosa Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Cordova wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against Scottsboro on the 8th. As for Coosa Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Ragland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coosa Christian is facing Ragland at the right time seeing as Ragland is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
