Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowdon). They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over the Cedartown Bulldogs. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

Bowdon found their leader in freshman Meg Robinson, who threw for 298 yards and six touchdowns while completing 77.8% of her passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Adalyn Chambers helped Robinson out on the ground, rushing for 96 yards, while also picking up 61 receiving yards.

Bowdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Robinson led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Amari King got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bowdon is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.4 points on average over those games. As for Cedartown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Bowdon will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Marist on December 4. The War Eagles' defense has only allowed 6.9 points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. Cedartown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
