Iowa Colony's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenadie Francis led the charge by scoring 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Francis hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Eryn Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Iowa Colony, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Sterling will be playing at home against Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa Colony, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Bend Willowridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Bend Willowridge will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
