Football Recap: Wyandotte Extends Winning Streak to Five

Wyandotte had won four straight games dating back to last season and Hunter White did his part to make it five on Friday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over the Colcord Hornets for which the team can thank White, who rushed for 83 yards and five TDs, and also threw for 276 yards on 16 of 34 attempts. White is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Wyandotte's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Colcord, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wyandotte is set to take on their familiar foe Kansas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colcord will face off against rival Keys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
