It was a good run, but the Granger Christian Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by Lakeland Christian Academy on the road and fell 43-15. Granger Christian has struggled against Lakeland Christian Academy recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Katie Reimink continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lakeland Christian Academy, scoring 18 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Robertson, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Granger Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granger Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they will face off against Bethany Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Bethany Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
