On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Heartland beat El Dorado Christian 45-41.
Diego Martinez was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Stone, who scored 13 points.
Heartland's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for El Dorado Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heartland will take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Dorado Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Learning Center at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
