Burns Flat-Dill City's Chance Larson recorded the longest rushing play in A District 2 this season in his game against Minco last week. Larson scampered for 61 yards on the play and finished with 55 on the day as his team fell to the Bulldogs.
Thomas-Fay-Custer extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Snyder, 42-12. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Burns Flat-Dill City's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tony Dorman has thrown for 283 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Justin Perez has 12 catches for 183 yards. Michael People leads the league in rushing with 487 yards.
A big matchup in A District 2 this week will be when Cordell takes on Apache. The Blue Devils are in fifth place, while the Warriors are in third place.
Cordell and Sayre played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Cordell eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory.
