Softball Recap: Wheaton-Warrenville South Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Wheaton-Warrenville South won against Naperville Central last Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Tigers never let the Geneva Vikings get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Wheaton-Warrenville South and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Wheaton-Warrenville South will challenge Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Geneva, they will face off against Naperville North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
