Leading Elite Academy to victory were Ladainian Brooks and Kyler Theophile. Brooks dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds, while Theophile went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Theophile has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Justin Morgan, who scored nine points.
Elite Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Mater Academy Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Elite Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against ABF Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Mater Academy Charter, they will be playing at home against Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Westminster Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 379 points over their last six contests.
