Potlatch won the last time they faced Prairie and things went their way  on Friday too. The Loggers blew past the Pirates 8-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Loggers.
 Jameson Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jay Marshall, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Logan Carpenter was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
Potlatch pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
