The Tri-State Christian Huskies will take on the Faith Christian Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-State Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Tri-State Christian struggled with assists on Friday (Quad Cities Christian had 15 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Tri-State Christian was outmatched by Quad Cities Christian at home and fell 63-18. Tri-State Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kennedy Duenser, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Zelle, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Faith Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Parkview Christian Academy 55-28.
Tri-State Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
