Midland Trail might be getting used to good results now that the squad has eight wins in a row. They captured a comfortable 26-10 win over Fayetteville.
Midland Trail kept their perfect record intact and rose to 8-0. Fayetteville's defeat pushes them down to 5-3.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Midland Trail will take on Oak Hill at 7:30 PM. Unlike Midland Trail, Oak Hill will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Fayetteville, they will face off against Mt. View. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
