Norwell had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They never let the East Bridgewater Vikings get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Clippers have posted since April 2nd.

Norwell's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for East Bridgewater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.
