The Hebron Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Plano West Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hebron is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
On Tuesday, Hebron faced Coppell in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Hebron walked away with a 3-1 win over Coppell.
Hebron hit Coppell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Molly Lundy,
Layla Thompson, and
Leah Simpson.
Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Plano West were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Marcus. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plano West in their matchups with Marcus: they've now lost five in a row.
Hebron's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Plano West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
Hebron skirted past Plano West 2-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Does Hebron have another victory up their sleeve, or will Plano West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
