The Prosper Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Prosper had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Plano East on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Panthers. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

Ava Van Volkenburgh was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Khyla Glover also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Prosper kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Rock Hill made sure to put some runs up on the board against Princeton on Tuesday. The Blue Hawks never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That 15-run margin sets a new team best for the Blue Hawks this season.
Madilynn Grossman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Grossman was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Kerrigan, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Tatum Kemp was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Prosper's record now sits at 6-7. As for Rock Hill, their record is now 3-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Prosper hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. However, it's not like Rock Hill struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Prosper's way against Rock Hill in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Prosper made off with a 22-10 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Blue Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
