Despite the loss, Harding County still got an impressive performance from Evan Meyer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Meyer also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Payton Dvorak was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
New England now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Harding County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New England will take on Beach at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Beach is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Harding County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belle Fourche at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belle Fourche is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
