The Huguenot Falcons can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Clover Hill with points to spare, taking the game 65-50. That's another feather in the cap for Huguenot, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Huguenot was led to victory by Trevion Brown and Kaemon Smith. Brown scored 19 points along with seven steals and two blocks, while Smith scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Smith hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Karanjae Phillips was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Huguenot's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Clover Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huguenot will take on Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Midlothian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Clover Hill, they will stay at home for another game and welcome James River Midlothian at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st.
