At the plate, Kinnady Branch and Addie Hinson did most of the damage at the plate: Branch went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Hinson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. St. Catherine's has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Trinity Episcopal struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
St. Catherine's got the 'W' in their previous matchup on Thursday against Trinity Episcopal by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
