After a string of three wins, Everett's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Lynn English by a score of 75-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (58), Everett still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Somerville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 76-54 loss at the hands of Lynn English. Somerville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.
Everett's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Somerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Everett strolled past Somerville when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 57-39. Will Everett repeat their success, or does Somerville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
