There's no place like home for Karns, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Campbell County Cougars on Wednesday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Beavers have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Karns' win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 11-12. As for Campbell County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Karns will have a chance to go back-to-back against Campbell County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
